Sun and tanning beds, an active metabolism, oily skin, acids and retinoids, peels and laser treatments, frequent traumatic cosmetic procedures, and your individual response to the pigment.

Not while it is healing — tanning and direct sun exposure must be avoided completely.

Once fully healed you can sunbathe, but protect the area with a high-SPF sunscreen. UV exposure speeds up fading.

You can, but it works against keeping the color. If you do use one, protect the pigmented area — UV exposure accelerates lightening and shifts the shade.

No. A touch-up is not a required step for every client.

It is done only after full healing, and only if the shape, density, color, or individual areas genuinely need more work.

Not sooner than 30 days after the first procedure, and the right moment can be as late as around two and a half months.

The exact timing depends on your age, skin type, and how you heal — I agree it with you individually before the first appointment.

Because the skin has not finished recovering, and the final color and pigment density cannot yet be judged objectively.

Traumatizing skin again before it has healed is also undesirable.

Do not apply acids, retinoids, scrubs, or peels directly to the permanent makeup while it is healing.

Once the skin has recovered it is still better not to use them regularly directly on the pigmented area if you want the color to last.

Traumatic or active cosmetic treatments directly in the permanent makeup area are best planned for after the skin has fully recovered.

The interval depends on the specific treatment, so please ask me rather than assuming.

Rarely, people report burning, tingling, or swelling in a tattooed or permanent makeup area during an MRI.

Always tell the medical staff that you have permanent makeup before a scan.
